After-Ski

The ski day doesn’t end when the lifts close. Students take part in fun, relaxing and reflective activities that build teamwork and connection. Evenings might include group games, ice skating, yoga or creative sessions designed to strengthen bonds and celebrate the day’s achievements.

1-day Excursions

Each week includes an educational excursion that connects sport, culture and nature. Students might visit a traditional mountain village, explore an alpine museum, or take part in an environmental workshop, turning curiosity into learning.

Personal Development

At Branner Camps, personal development is not an add-on. It is woven into everything we do. Every activity, whether on the slopes or off, is designed as an opportunity for students to build confidence, develop resilience, and deepen self-awareness. Destination & Accommodation

Branner Camps are based in Morgins, a charming Swiss mountain village in the canton of Valais, just 90 minutes from Geneva Airport. Sitting at 1,350m with slopes reaching 2,270m, Morgins is part of the legendary Portes du Soleil ski area, giving students access to over 600 km of interconnected pistes across Switzerland and France. Our groups stay in a fully privatised chalet in the heart of the village, accommodating up to 100 students and staff, with the ski bus stop just steps from the door and the gondola only 900 metres away. Everything is designed so students can focus on what matters: learning, growing, and making memories in the mountains.

Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ

Do students need prior skiing experience?

Not at all. Our certified Ski school instructors teach students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced skiers. Groups are divided by ability so every student progresses at the right pace and builds genuine confidence on the slopes.

What is included in the price?

The package includes a 5-day ski pass, 5 hours of professional ski lessons per day, full equipment rental, 4 meals a day, accommodation in a fully privatised chalet, evening activities, a 1-day cultural excursion, and a 1:8 staff-to-student supervision ratio. One free chaperone place is offered for every 10 students enrolled.

When do the ski trips take place?

Our camps run from the beginning of December through the end of April, Saturday to Saturday. If your school requires different dates or a shorter duration, contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Where exactly are the camps located?

Branner Camps are based in Morgins, a charming Swiss mountain village in the canton of Valais, just 90 minutes from Geneva Airport. Morgins is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, giving students access to over 600 km of pistes across Switzerland and France.

What is expected from accompanying school teachers?

Very little 🙂 and that’s by design. Branner Camps provides a fully staffed program with a 1:8 staff-to-student ratio, so teachers and chaperones are not required to take on supervisory or organisational duties. Our team handles everything: safety on the slopes, meals, accommodation, evening activities, and logistics.

Teachers are warmly welcome to join the skiing, take part in after-ski activities, or simply enjoy the mountain at their own pace. This is a chance for educators to be present with their students in a relaxed, inspiring setting without the usual responsibilities. One free chaperone place is included for every 10 students enrolled.

How is student safety managed?

Safety is our top priority. Lessons are led by certified Ski instructors on secured slopes, and our team maintains a 1:8 staff-to-student ratio at all times.

What happens after skiing?

The end of the ski day is just as meaningful as the slopes. Students return to the chalet for a moment of guided reflection on the day’s experiences, followed by showers to recharge and free time. After a nutritious dinner, every evening features a different activity, no two nights are the same. Past evenings have included ice skating, movie nights, disco nights, team building games, and much more. These moments are where friendships are made and the spirit of the group really comes alive.

How do we book a ski trip for our school?

Simply reach out via our Enrol page and a member of our team will get back to you to discuss your group size, preferred dates, and any specific requirements. We handle all the logistics so your school can focus entirely on the experience.

Is there a medical centre near the camp?

Yes. Morgins has medical facilities within the village itself, and the nearest full hospital: Hôpital de Monthey is just 18 minutes away by car (approximately 13 km). On the slopes, the Portes du Soleil ski area has mountain rescue and piste patrol operating at all times. Switzerland’s healthcare system is world-class, and we ensure all students and staff are close to professional care throughout their stay.

What age groups are Branner Camps ski trips designed for?

Our ski trips are designed for school groups, typically students aged 10 to 17. Programs are tailored to the group’s age and experience level. Contact us to discuss how we can adapt the program for your students.
